Reading Elephant series 15 introduces the r-controlled sounds: ar, er, ir, ur and or. Each phonics sound is introduced one at a time. There are multiple books for each r-controlled sound so kids can develop some fluency with each unit. In addition, series 15 gradually introduces more sight words.
